Kaushik is a Senior Consultant in the Capital Markets practice at Khaitan Legal Associates.

Kaushik has an experience of over three decades in corporate transactions encompassing capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructuring, and general corporate.

Kaushik has held leadership roles in big listed companies till 2017 and from 2018 has been associated with Finshore Management Services Limited, a SEBI Registered Category I Merchant Banking company, first as President and then as Director, overseeing all merchant banking activities including IPO Management (SME IPO + Main Board IPO), Valuation & Business Modelling, Mergers & Acquisitions, Fairness Opinion, AIF-Valuation, and Due Diligence, Exit Offers, Buy-Back, Rights Issues, Further Public Offers, Company Law Advisory & Assurance, Capital Market & Stock Exchange Services, etc.

His experience in complex transactions, coupled with an excellent grasp of legal nuances, has earned him a good reputation with his clients, especially for coming up with practical solutions to intricate issues.

Kaushik actively follows jurisprudence relating to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and his understanding of the jurisprudence helped him in advising stakeholders in a CIRP proceeding, be it Resolution Professionals, Committees of Creditors, or Resolution Applicants, in all respects of the process of insolvency, revival, and liquidation of companies.
